July Elections in Australia

July 1, 2016, 4:09 p.m.

On 2 July, Australia will hold elections for Parliament - both the upper and lower houses.

Elections would normally be later in the year, but due to a full dissolution of Parliament by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, elections were moved up to this earlier date.

Read more about the elections for the House of Representatives and the Senate, and check back for election results once they are made available.
