Original articles

ElectionGuide publishes guest commentary on emerging issues in democracy assistance and on countries undergoing democratic transitions. Successful submissions will be 1,000-1,500 words, clearly written, and concerned with a policy or research challenge in the field. Book reviews, summaries of current research, and photo essays also will be considered. We reserve the right to lightly edit submissions.
